Greetings and welcome to the Austin Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc

On behalf of the remarkable Mothers of the Austin Chapter, I am delighted to welcome you to our website. We invite you to learn about transformative experiences curated by our dedicated Mothers which promote leadership development, cultural awareness, philanthropic giving, legislative advocacy, and community service for future African American leaders. Established in 1938, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. boasts 262 chapters, representing more than 50,000 family members making a difference in communities nationwide.

Our children are at the heart of all that we do. For over 70 years, the Austin Chapter has proudly championed this purpose as a collective of Mothers dedicated to fostering positive self‐identity, social responsibility, and educational readiness. Most recently, Austin Chapter has supported Black Mamas Village, African American Youth Harvest Foundation, The Bakari Foundation, and Jack and Jill Foundation. Our signature fundraiser is our biennial Beautillion ball where we proudly present accomplished young African American men to the Austin community. Beautillion is a collaborative effort with the community and includes a season of leadership workshops designed to encourage professional development, civic engagement, financial acumen, and volunteerism.

I am honored to serve as the 33rd President of the Austin Chapter. I look forward to working with our Mothers and the Austin-area community as we forward the aim of our organization to continue to seek for all children the same advantages which we desire for our own. As the African proverb goes, “It takes a village to raise a child” and we are blessed because we ARE the village!

Yours in Service,

Kim Hill

2024-2026 Austin Chapter President
